Kainaw's Hungry Hedgehog

Kainaw's Hungry Hedgehog began shortly after the closing of Pawprint Online. The owners of Kainaw, Inc. have had hedgehogs for many years. Insectivore Fare, Mini Snax, and Mazuri Diet have always been a favorite of the hedgehogs. Pawprint Online was the preferred food source.

After many fantastic years of service, Pawprint Online closed. The owners of Kainaw, Inc. were without a food supplier. However, Kainaw, Inc. was already successful in web hosting, programming, e-commerce, and shipping. All it needed was a bulk food supplier. After weeks of researching, the main suppliers of three popular foods and one extremely popular snack were found. Kainaw's Hungry Hedgehog was created.

The purpose of Kainaw's Hungry Hedgehog was not to turn a profit. While income to pay for labor, accounting, and supplies was required, the standard 300% retail markup was not. So, the owners had an idea: cut the profit margin to 150% and turn over part of that to the Hedgehog Welfare Society. We guarantee that 5% of sales will be donated to the Hedgehog Welfare Society, but we normally send more.

What's up for the future? Well...

We are experimenting with a new method of sales using flat-rate boxes. Choose a single-item or four-item box. Fill it with as much or little as you like. Shipping won't change.

We will not be expanding to other pets. Hedgehogs are enough for us.
